Tea for (Almost) Free

A pot-bellied chai wallah in Varanasi. He boiled the loose tea in a pot with milk, sugar, ginger and cardamon, then strained it into the tea pot on the left. One tea, served in the wee clay pots stacked upside down on the far left, cost Rs. 4. Posted by Hello

To my World Traveler Companion,
Welcome home! I'm glad to hear the rash is gone...mine too!
India misses you and so do I. See you in the states in 4 or 5 months. We will eat Indian with our hands and laugh about Push and his driving, scary cockroaches and our scars from surviving "the rash". Take care of yourself and I love your pictures.
Love,
Jessica
